MEETING OF THE FINANCE AND GENERAL PURPOSES COMMITTEE

To: Cllrs M. Barnes, P. Brockwell, M. Coker, D. Fry, G. Harris, F. Hewer, Jean Stretton, M. Wellman and H.J. Woodbridge.

A G E N D A

1. Apologies and Declarations of Interest.

2. To appoint a Chairman for the Finance & General Purposes Committee.

3. To consider the internal auditor’s report for the 2008-2009 financial year – see attached report.

4. To note the additional information required by the external auditors for the 5% spot check – see attached sheets, info only unless Cllrs have queries.

5. To review and approve the end of year accounts for 2008-2009 financial year – see attached documents.

6. To recommend approval of the Annual Return for the 2008-2009 financial year to the Full Council at their meeting on 23rd June 2009.

7. To discuss the latest response to the Clerk’s letter from Zurich Insurance. (Clerk to brief the Committee re: ongoing communication problems)

8. To review the Financial Regulations as discussed at the Full Council meeting on 2nd June 2009 – Cllrs please bring your copies with you.
